Burnt Sugar Supper Club

The Bennett Centre, 28.02.25

Join Burnt Sugar for an evening of good food, drink and conversation in the cloisters of the Bennett Centre in Frome, illuminated by the candlelight. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a welcome cocktail and canapés before settling down for a night of dining and conversation.

 

This seasonal feast showcases our passion for locally sourced ingredients, ethical practices, and creative, modern European dishes influenced by Asian flavours.

Blood orange-infused gin, blood orange juice, Crémant

Pasta fritti, lemon ricotta, speck


Starter

Chicken & leek terrine, cime di rapa agrodolce, pine nuts

Frigitelli peppers, romesco sauce, miso-cured egg yolk (V)

 

Main

Roast & smoked haunch of venison, salt-baked celeriac, blackberry & red wine sauce

or

Braised oyster mushroom, XO sauce (V)

Crispy truffled new potatoes

Buttered cabbage

 

Dessert

Rice pudding brûlée, poached forced rhubarb

 

A thoughtfully curated selection of wines from small, independent producers will be available to purchase on the night, ensuring each course finds its perfect match. Come celebrate the season’s bounty with us, share in the warmth of community, and discover why Burnt Sugar Supper Clubs are all about taste, terroir, and a touch of candlelit magic.

 

Please note we are using Humanitix for our ticketing platform who donate 100% of their profits to charities providing education, healthcare and life’s basic necessities.
